Office patch issues
Office 2013 users worldwide are reporting massive problems with Office 2013 since patch day last week. In many cases, Word and Outlook installations became so slow that productive work was no longer possible. Blame the patch with the KB3114717.
This can be remedied by uninstalling the corresponding update via the Windows Control Panel. Only the 2013 versions of the Office package are affected. Microsoft has now classified the update as expired in WSUS or withdrawn it on the website and will probably publish a new revision soon.
