The Company
The BMW Group plant Steyr is the diesel engine development center of the BMW Group but also the world's largest engine plant. Up to 6.000 diesel and petrol engines are installed in international vehicles every day. The company attaches great importance to the development of new diesel engine technologies, as well as to the continuous improvement of engine parts.
The task
Events such as a darts tournament are held regularly for the almost 5.000 employees at BMW. Until now, this has been managed in an Access program under tedious and complex conditions. Registration took place on a website – as did the option to pay. Our team should therefore create a clearer and more practical replacement of this website with a modern web application.

The results
As part of a kick-off analysis workshop, the existing application and its functions were included and a specification was created due to a lack of documentation. In a customer test phase, all the last details were optimized and completed.
Subsequently, we will take over the hosting and maintenance on one of our servers in order to enable our customers to use the website in the best possible way.
