Helvetia Austria was founded in 1858 under the name "Der ANKER, Gesellschaft für Lebens- und Rentenversicherung" as the oldest Austrian insurance company. Since 2006 it has also appeared in Austria under the name of the Swiss parent company Helvetia. Helvetia Austria employs around 900 people and is one of the top 15 domestic insurance companies.
The task
The aim of this SEO consulting project was to give Helvetia an overview of the current status of their website in terms of ranking on Google and possible optimization potential based on an independent external view. A brief introduction to the most important aspects of search engine optimization should also be part of the planned in-house workshop. The focus was on the following points:
- Find out the SEO status of the website
- research relevant product-specific search terms
- find possible optimization potentials of individual page areas
- Introduction to Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
The solution
The Iphos e-marketing specialists carried out an in-depth analysis and provided the following services for Helvetia Austria:
- Analysis of the level of search engine optimization (SEO) of the website (technical and content optimization, ...)
- Definition of a product-specific keyword set (list of search terms
- Individual search engine range measurement / SEO check
- Workshop with presentation of the results and short introduction to search engine optimization
The results
The Iphos e-marketing team carried out several analyzes in advance and checked Helvetia's website for its optimization status for search engines. In addition, a keyword set (list of frequently requested search terms) geared to the products offered in Austria was created and the ranking of Helvetia for these search terms on Google Austria determined.
As part of an in-house workshop lasting several hours, the analyzes carried out and the focal points for the SEO practice of the Helvetia Austria website were discussed and questions on current search engine optimization (SEO) practices were answered. Based on these analyzes and tips, the Helvetia marketing team was now able to incorporate important aspects of SEO when revising and creating new web content.
